Transgender Support Therapy

When fantasy meets reality…

At some point, many people who come out as transgender have expressed a similar thought – they will often assume that everyone must fantasize about being a different gender.

While it’s true that most people wonder at some point what it might be like to be in a different body or be a different gender, what often isn’t true for cisgender individuals is the fantasy.

You have the right to explore.

Nobody gets to tell you who you are.

Unfortunately, we live in a world where people often tell us how we should look, think, feel, and act to be “acceptable,” but this is toxic.

You have a right to ask questions, seek answers, and determine who you are as fully and thoroughly as possible.

The only person that lives your life is you, and only you can say who you are.

You deserve safety to explore.

You deserve the opportunity to share your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment and ask questions without feeling the need to have immediate answers.

Without worrying about being believed, you deserve the space to express the reality of your internal experience.

This journey is scary and complex, and you deserve to have someone sit with you and compassionately listen and encourage you toward your most authentic self.

Therapy provides a nonjudgmental space where you will be heard, understood, and encouraged.

The journey is complex but worth exploring.

There is no single right way to explore what it means for you to be transgender.

It would be ridiculous to expect that your journey will look exactly like anyone else’s because you’re so unique!

Our office is a space where you can explore the complexities of your experience.

We are here to honor and support you on your journey!
